One stop shop for free information and advice for students, graduates and applicants to universities in the UK, espicially those from other EU countries.

Thinking of studying at a university in England, Scotland or Wales?

…or are you a student already and are you planning your next move?

This site is initially aimed at candidates and students from the EU but both British students and international students will be able to find useful information on here.

 It’s for both:

  • Undergraduate students and applicants
  • Postgraduate students and applicants

 And is about:

  • Getting into university, including applying and choosing your favourite course or university and…
  • Moving on when you’re about to graduate, either into further study, a promising career or a job.

The pages on this site are organised in a natural flow from your first ideas and plans through to applying to university and planning and finding work.

This site is only available in English because it is important to have a good standard of English to study at a British university. You will however be able to translate this site through automatic translation. You can do this by either using Google Chrome or by using the drop down list which you can find top right on every page. Please be aware this is software translation and may not be perfect. If you have any questions, feel free to email me by using the pro forma at the bottom of this page

 Some important facts:

  • The English, Welsh and Scottish higher education systems are very different from those elsewhere in Europe, or even the world, in spite of their apparent similarity in the first instance.
  • Especially for an undergraduate degree, you can’t just register at a university. It is increasingly possible to apply centrally through UCAS for postgraduate qualifications as well.
  • In the United Kingdom there are more than 300 institutions that offer higher education (HE) courses, so there's a lot to choose from!
  • No need to say that, because of the high number of HE institutions, the courses as well run into the hundreds and it can be daunting to choose those you would like to apply for.

A bit about myself…

I have been a fully qualified, professional career adviser since 2004. I hope this website will help you find your way through the maze of opportunities. Also, I am not linked to any institution of higher education or other organisation with a specific interest. My only interest is your success!

I hope you enjoy my website,
